    ShopSavvy Recognizes CodeZ QR Momentum

    The ShopSavvy comparison shopping bar code scanning application announced support for QR Codes with the following statement "QR codes are a Japanese technology that had not gotten much traction among U.S. retailers, but because they can store far more information than standard 1D barcodes, we’re seeing increasing adoption here."

    Google's recent roll out of over 100,000 QR Code stickers to "Favorite Places" was cited.

    Pepsi Launches QR Campaign

    Pepsi Co just launched a new QR Code campaign in the UK for Pepsi Max.  They have printed a QR Code on every can.  These codes can be scanned to "Surf the Pepsi Wap site and find a bucket load of stuff everyday including games, videos and weird and wacky websites".  You can see all the details of the campaign at http://www.pepsi.co.uk/QRSteps.aspx
