    Google Confirms Need For CodeZ QR

    Google announced their new Nexus One mobile phone in recognition of the fact that "people increasingly surf the Web on handsets instead of personal computers.” 

    This speaks well for CodeZ QR applications that are being launched by corporations and print service providers in 2010.  CodeZ QR launches mobile phone users to 1to1 web experiences in the easiest manner possible.

    Sony Ericsson Pre-loading QR Readers - CodeZ QR Value Increases

    Sony Ericsson announced this week that it will be pre-loading bar code readers on all of its camera phones. 

    Now that nearly every major mobile phone manufacturer is pre-loading QR readers, companies with CodeZ QR initiatives have dramatically increased the value proposition of their projects.

    With critical mass of QR readers now established in North America look for a rapid roll out of CodeZ QR in 1to1 corporate communications in late 2009 and early 2010.......

    BlackBerry's QR Reader Officially Released

    RIM has finally officially released BlackBerry Messenger 5.0.  BBM 5.0 includes a built in QR Code reader.  Leaked versions of the software have been out for several weeks and there have been You Tube videos demonstrating the QR Code reader.  Now the software is in general availability for existing BlackBerry users for the first time.

    The list of manufacturers supporting QR Codes continues to grow.  LG recently announced that they will be pre-loading the ScanLife reader on all their new camera phones worldwide.  LG is the third largest manufacturer of cell phones in the world having shipped over 100 million handsets in 2008.
